To work as a taxi driver in Soufriere, you need your own car and a readiness to provide reliable journeys for people travelling within the area and beyond. You are not tied to a fixed shift pattern. Choose the times that suit you, take breaks when needed, and make driving part of a routine that works for your life. This flexibility can suit experienced drivers as well as people seeking a more independent way to work in Saint Lucia.

With the option to drive with your own car, you remain in charge of an important part of the service you provide. You can choose your own service area based on the routes you know best and the distances you are comfortable covering. Some drivers may focus on journeys around Soufriere, while others may be available for longer trips when it suits their plans. The choice is yours, helping you create a driving approach that feels manageable and professional.

This model also gives drivers room to make their own decisions. You can set your own fare rates and decide which ride requests match your availability. That autonomy is valuable if you want to treat driving as a service built around your standards, your car, and your preferred working hours.
